My mixed media artwork is comprised of a printmaking process (monotype), oil painting, oil pastels, ebony pencil, and collage. First, I do a monotype on my etching press. Oil paint is applied after the monotype is dry as glazes to enhance the colors. Then I apply collage with an adhesive. Finally, I finish detail work with oil pastels and an ebony pencil. These are all one-of-a-kind pieces. All painting and printing are done exclusively by me.

My works are multi-layered monotypes that are printed on an etching press. They are painted with printmaking inks and oil paints on a matrix of Plexiglas. Each layer of paint is allowed to dry before I print successive layers. The textures are achieved by manipulating the paint and ink prior to printing. All the painting and printing are done by me.
